This agenda for this training session will be a concentrated view of data center storage networking technology and applications and will help prepare you for the CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA exam (SGO–001) exam. Each student will receive their own printed study guide for preparation for the CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA certification exam.
This certification training session covers a breath of topics including:
- Storage networking components including disk, tape, SSD, switches, HBAs, CNAs, TOE, storage arrays, optical cabling, links, interface speeds, ports, etc.
- Storage networking technologies including DAS, NAS, SAN, FC, SAS, SATA, SCSI, iSCSI, FCoE, LUN, LVM, VLAN, VSAN, RAID, NFS, CIFS, TCP/IP, DBC, etc.
- Storage networking concepts including load balancing, multipathing masking, zoning, trunking, high availability, scalability, reliability, credit, flow control, oversubscription, etc.
- Applications and technologies that manage, protect, secure, and virtualize data centers including replication, backup, restore, deduplication, thin provisioning, encryption, data retention, information management, etc.
